Our nursing home services offer long-term residents places to live in small communities we call households. Our residents are in small, tight-knit communities with others to encourage socialization and stimulation.
Every household is equipped with a country-kitchen where breakfast is cooked-to-order breakfasts and other meals just as they would if they were sitting in their own dining rooms. The aromas in the mornings wake the residents, starting every day off right.
All the residents’ rooms in a household are anchored by a warm hearth-room. A fireplace producing real heat is a gathering place for our residents to watch television or talk with family and friends.
To further foster relationships while receiving nursing home services, two households join to eat hot meals in a community setting of the country-kitchen. Our residents enjoy time with both one another and our friendly staff. Mealtime is a valued activity for those a part of St. Margaret’s senior living. New Orleans residents, and those in the surrounding Greater New Orleans area, continue to trust us with their family members and loved ones.
