The 2023 St. Margaret’s Foundation Golf Tournament is Friday, May 12 at Timberlane Golf and Recreation in Gretna. The proceeds from our tournament benefit the Ann Connick Stansberry Nursing Scholarship at the University of Holy Cross and the St. Margaret’s Foundation.
Ann Connick Stansberry dedicated her life to easing the physical, social and psychological hardships of the people she served as a nurse at West Jefferson Hospital and St. Margaret’s. The scholarship will be awarded to a student who shares Ann’s compassion, understanding and kindness in their professional, clinical, and personal relationships.
The mission of St. Margaret’s Foundation is to find solutions for vulnerable populations and to improve the physical environments in long-term care facilities like St. Margaret’s and St. Jude’s. Formed in 2010, we serve the elderly population in New Orleans and the surrounding area, including people in underserved and economically disadvantaged communities. The Foundation believes in providing medical services for our seniors and in making the investments necessary to meet their medical needs and their basic needs.
